Yet the Advocate has this little nugget: BTW we really need to consolidate the Crowton thread into one...
Would we? We struggled to move the ball against McNeese and ULM? We had 7 total TD passes... Defenses don't stop this offense as much this offense stops itself...
Miles mum about Crowton's return | thetowntalk.com | The Town Talk :geaux: Good read on Crowton's intentions. Says he's not goin' anywhere. :dis: :LSU231:
Everybody needs to go back to the very first article. It states that GC was instructed to contact the media outlets and debunk the story of interviewing with ULL. He is saying all the things that need to be said to kill that story. None of it is a concrete answer that he isn't going to leave.
All we're getting right now is a whole lot of nothing and coachspeak, or have we already forgotten Nick's "I will not be the HC at Alabama" speech? We're not going to know anything definitive until after the bowl game. I'd argue that if Les really wanted to keep Crowton and squash this "distraction" for the bowl once and for all, he would've laid all rumors to rest immediately yesterday by clearly saying, in no uncertain terms, that he will be back next year. Instead, he blew off the question. There's a lot more going on behind the scenes, guys.
:geaux: Totally agree that nothing's concrete yet and just linked the article 'cause it was related to the thread. Definitely an ongoing and developing situation. :LSU231:
