Sure but I don't think that Gerry would be any worse than Crowton. Gerry Dinardo was the offensive coordinator for CU when they won the championship in 1990 btw. I don't think Mike Archer can claim any title like that!:thumb: It would also be great for Gerry to be successful here as "Offensive Coordinator"
1) Running between the tackles is mandatory for success in the SEC. Can you name one team that does not run between the tackles that has won the SEC championship in say.. the last 5 years? 2) Throwing mechanics can be fixed and improved, it's not genetic -- it's poor coaching/we need a player now. 3) Lee does have a cannon, but he looked defeated out there.. (can't put the blame on him, I wouldn't want to play for fans who boo my first incomplete pass either) 4) I think the 'telegraphed' plays is a bit overdramatic. You may be able to guess run/pass but the small details are the most important ones. 5) Williams outshined Ridley against Tech. I think Ridley will be great and he runs hard.. and his time will come.
not me. we had an identity. playcalling at least made sense. QBs were developed. offense was fairly smooth. no one is perfect, but Jimbo>>>Crowton. i could have made that about 50 arrows actually. as far as the present goes, CGC definitely needs to go; its clear as day. i am sure CLM will be in "self-preservation mode" after the season, take some time to analyze OCs out there and hopefully make a better decision on his hiring this time.
It is absurd to be calling for anyone's firing at this point. That is just self-destruction. If there is no improvment by this time next year, that may be an option worth discussion. But not now.
