I agree but if Les told Crowton he had 100% complete control of the offense do you think we would see the product that is on the field now? I dont. Not saying thats good or bad but based on Crowton's comments over the years, not during his tenure at LSU, he is a spread guy and loves that offense.
of course not. thats like saying mike leach would run from the I at LSU. same thing here. not crowtons offense at all. les gives crowton his blueprint and crowton develops his around it. thats obvious as it was with jimbo and nick. theyre the head coaches. of course they run it their way.
If Crowton had 100% control, he would be head coach. It's not Crowton's offense, his job is to run Les' offense.
If Crowton had control of the O we wouldnt be nearly as predictable thats for sure. Cant say for sure how it would turn out, but Im sure we would be a bit better off if Crowton was allowed to run what he wants. Not this old school Big Ten style O. With the talent level here and the competition thus far there is no excuse why LSU is stalled so often. None. Except predicatability, fire, intensity, etc. Those were the things that made Miles special. Its almost like he is trying to show the critics he can be conventional. We need the old Miles back.:miles:
