I've been saying this for a while... i hope auburn wins the BCSNCG and cam newton wins the heisman... SEC dominance.....
I realize some of what you say is self interest. However, it should be just as obvious, that within each one of us, is this innate desire to experience how the other half lives. I have continue to remind you how inseparable these two programs have become. Soon, most in TigerLand will insist that LouisiAnA be spelled with scripted "A." To see how pure logic has overcome the emotional commitment of a lifetime is gratifying and I'm humbled. From the Avatars flying, to the signatures flowing, the solidarity is most over whelming. Now, for my in depth analysis for the "Iron Bowl." As you could easily see, the Auburn Tigers came out especially tight in the first half against Georgia. With each passing week the pressure mounts to stay undefeated. We are now in Week 13 and the barn faces the toughest team, in the toughest venue in America. The ball will be heavy, the crowd hostile and the hitting fierce. Look for Bama to stop their running game over all and our offense taking full advantage of time of possession. Look for the Pachyderm to start fast and finish faster. Today, Tuscaloosa has become Baton Rouge East.
Put me down for one of these too. Short of the sink hole I'm really hoping for a referee win in this game. Or maybe a tie. This is the definition of a no win situation, I'll feel dirty what ever the out come maybe.
Nope, never in my 44 years have I had the desire to be like a gump even for a second. What?:insane: Geaux war chicken/plainsmen
Tusk don't push it man. I am sure that you are smart enough to know where the envelope is, so your better off served just taking those of us who are for 3 hrs willing to get behind your Tide. As you point out, and yes you should be humbled, because if it hasn't occured to you, I am a Legacy Tiger, a 2nd generation of which a total of over 55 yrs of hatred towards the Tide is being put aside, but only for personal gain. I honestly had to talk to my father before I could make this jump to support your team. If it had not been for him saying that he was willing to do the same, I would not be behind you or your Crimson Tide. It starts and continues for generations in my family. Do know that it doesn't end with me, I have 3 boys, who will all wear PROUDLY the PURPLE and GOLD, and all have the HEARTS OF A TIGER. They all know their choice in life and each will choose to continue their journey, when their time comes, into confines of LSU where they will continue to hate all that would or could do harm to their Beloved Tigers. So, do bow down to just how humbled you should be, but don't expect this eyes wide shut approach from me again, for I cannot forsee this situation ever presenting itself again. As some have stated I feel dirty for even entertaining this. Nothing personal man, I am sure you are a great person, as many of your posts would indicate. You come here, not with any level of humility or humbleness toward a rival fan base, but you do come with an open mind and an open appreciation for just how great our Tigers are. For that I can give much respect to you and do appreciate your patronage to Tiger Country. I would remind you though, to remember where you are and to always know that in Tiger Country there is only ONE KING, a KING that beats with the HEART and SOUL of a TIGER. :geaux: :LSU231: LSU! :tigereye:
I wonder sometimes if Tusk is really that delusional, or just a fan of hyperbole and rhetoric. Maybe it's both.
