I didn't know what a cracka was before joining here. Years ago it came up here and that was the first I'd heard it.
I feel bad for black people when it comes to this, primarily because they were enslaved for like 400 years, but also because in modern day arguments they don't have a racial slur against white folks that really has any weight. "Crackers" just doesn't do anything, if a white person was dropping "n" bombs it incites full blown riots.....but anytime a high profile black person throws around "crackers" white people are like "grab your camera's and video, this is hilarious", then there's "honkeys" which is even funnier to me than crackers. Whitey, Pale Face, Gringo, Wonder Bread, Powder....does nothing, none of those are even remotely offensive to me, just firing blanks all day long..... Back to the matter at hand, there's nothing worse than being a white person in a racial situation....I've literally been stuck between a rock and a black chick a few times and there's nothing you can do because you are viewed as White Devil Grand Dragon if you say anything.....best option is to just let em get their racial freak on. I've had 5 glasses of wine if this makes no sense. P.S. Gumborue, Shane owns you.
Interesting. Very interesting. http://topconservativenews.com/2012/03/americas-first-slave-owner-was-a-black-man/
They haven't figured out they enable whites to cause that reaction. I have a couple of black friends who use the "N" word with me and vice versa and very comfortably. It's probably why I don't mind grabbing the racial elephant in the room- though I like to push the envelope in general. IRL too. Such as?? What records?
Anthony Johnson sued Robert Parker in the Northampton Court in 1654. In 1655, the court ruled that Anthony Johnson could hold John Casor indefinitely. The court gave judicial sanction for blacks to own slave of their own race. Thus Casor became the first permanent slave and Johnson the first slave owner. Court records. They kept pretty good records back in them days Also.
One of my "black friends" called me last night and asked for me to run his bus route so he could go to NOLA to watch a niece play ball. He drives a bus for the Sumnmer Feeding program. I missed a turn and had to go around two blocks before dropping one of the 6 loads off to eat lunch. There was a collective sigh and I heard one say, "Creepy-ass cracka". I thought it was cute and I don't think it was said outside of tongue-in-cheek, really. They knew I knew several of the older people. Two were former athletes who played college ball. They were helping at a Bball camp at a church that was one of the stops. I was the only white in the place but I knew most of the staff since I'd worked at that High School years ago. I got a lot of hello's and hugs from some folks I hadn't seen in several years. I say that for my man NC to see when I say things like "Black ass" he shouldn't let it bother him. Believe me, no racist would have done what I did (take a black man's place - for free, at that- for him to be away and go out of my way getting off the bus to go visit).
Das okay. I didn't know it was okay to say "coonass" before I joined here. Lol. I say that on a USC forum and get my ass banned. Maybe I should.
Yeah I remember getting flogged for it once "over there". Posted something and left for supper only to return to Ol Champs was trying to burn me at the stake.
