kicking off from the 35... why not kick an onside? at worst, the Ravens would have only had it at around the 25.
Someone is extremely infatuated with New England losing a game. And no I am not talking about Don Shula or Mercury Morris. New England will wish they lost this game tonite. I think they will go 16-0 but lose to Indianapolis in the championship game. Too much pressure to go 19-0 will get to them.
The officiating late in the game was eerily similar to Pitt/WVU. DEFENSIVE pass interference when Moss ran over the CB? But then defensive holding in the endzone? Really? I watched that play a half dozen times and could still barely tell what the official was penalizing. Pretty pathetic.
The Colts used to get this same treatment... It's the mandatory illegal contact call on third or fourth down... The officials know the Colts/Pats are good, so if they throw 3 incompletions in a row, then there must be some sort of interference, right?
I'm no Pats fan, but there was a lot of contact in that play and the flag even came out before the incompletion...Anyway, Ravens can only blame themselves for losing that game...Every year they seem to be one of the most undisciplined teams in the league and it showed again last night.
He held onto the dude 10 yards down the field, the official did indeed throw the flag before the pass was even thrown...it was a legit call, as it disrupted the play tell Baltimore they should have played to win and threw the 3rd down pass down the field for a first down and then proceed to run out the clock instead of giving Tom Brady once last time to show why he will win this year's MVP
