    I don't have all of them but Miles is likely going to let him play on Special Teams this week so the redshirt is not an option.

    On the depth chart is a tough one because I see him behind most of the upperclassman right now as he learns the playbook and moving up the chart and contributing on defense in the early half of the season. I think he will see time during the ULL, LA Tech, and Tulane games and the staff will see where he shakes out.

    Not sure if you're implying that playing special teams in the first game of the season means you lose your redshirt?

    Both actually.

    Unless I am wrong, I thought they changed the rules a couple years back that stated if a player sees any playing time that they were not eligible for a redshirt?

    But I expect to see him get significant playing time this season anyway.
