Craig Loston: "I'm ready to have the best year of my life."

"I am the oldest guy back there in our secondary, but I'm also young at the same time. I've only got one year starting, so I'm not that far ahead of anybody else. And I'm ready to have the best year of my life."

"I definitely think I have a chance to have a big season," Loston said. "I have to be a big playmaker back there for us, and I also have to be more of a leader than I've ever been. I've got to make sure I've got everybody in the right position and have the calls right. That's a huge part of my job."

"I think a big reason he came back is because he hasn't accomplished the things he wanted to do here yet," LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis said. "I love that commitment. It's special and when you see it in an older guy like Craig, it means a lot to you as a coach."

I'm worried Craig will be our first ejection and it will come in Tuscaloosa on some bullshit.

 

He's very likely to be LSU's first ejection, but I say it happens long before then.

 

We don't play at Auburn this year though

 

Well it's about dam time- given the hype around his recruitment.

 

I've been touting the Loston legacy since he got here, it's now time to see it.

 

If that's gonna be the case, I hope he makes his hit worth it. We're due to decimate an Alabama QB after all these years now...

 

We're still yet to pay those fuckers back for spearing JJ in '09 (which wasn't even flagged).

 

He would have been drafted had he left last year with the rest of the juniors that left, he was 2nd team All SEC last year. He's currently projected to go 2nd R in the next draft as the #1 SS
