Maybe.....hopefully they're putting together an offensive staff that is coordinated in concept and purpose, and one that can coach. This rather than a few guys who can recruit only or having a babel of philosophies that don't mesh. If so we will have the foundation for something special. It will be night and day from what CLM ran.
Should be announced very soon for both open positions. Staff doing great job of keeping the names a secret. That is great but it also means I don't know the names at this time but hearing very positive info. I assume that means no Curtis Johnson and he isn't being hired on temporary basis by the Saints.
I figured CMC had some changes in mind when I first heard about this. If he is going to succeed he will need his people to be on the same page with him and develop these recruits appropriately. The cluster from the last coaching staff should be proof of that. These guys seem to be committed to making it work. I like the shake up, hopefully it will spill over to the players that Coach O is holding everyone accountable. I'm sure the days of not showing up in the weight room and taking off plays are over.
With the cluster phuck that was the LSU offense under Miles, the more changes the better. I'm really surprised that O didn't completely clean house on that side. The key will be O's ability to evaluate and hire assistant coaches. If O can get and maintain quality assistants the rest will pretty much take care of itself.
You are fugged. Two about killed me, and even at 25 and 23, I'm on life support. Prayers sent. And OBTW, it does not get better, just more intense. Good luck!
@bhelmLSU 4 daughters, gosh dam. Going to need a second ice chest of frog tog sooner than you know. I bet a lot of posters have walked right passed you on their way into the stadium and have no clue how close they came to meeting you.
Lost that spot last season...No more parking allowed under the stadium other than security, etc... It hurt, so many tailgates.
