1. Ron Paul 2. Mitt Romney 3. Sarah Palin Sure must be a lot of kooks out there. Boy I can't wait until 2012... And go ahead. Try to discredit the CPAC.. :insane:
no doubt, i mean Mitt Romney 2, and Sarah Palin 3? who are the rest of the candidates and why didn't they crack the tope 3? If Sarah Palin is President of this country it was nice knowin ya, Canada here i come.
At this point I wouldn't have a problem with Ron Paul, except for the small, tiny, minuscule issue of his foreign policy stance (or lack thereof). Sorry, but I can't back somebody who wants to keep our military completely inside the country. We have an empire to maintain! :thumb:
This is exactly the problem. I think you can get away with maintaining an empire if you are able to demand correct legislation regarding production, tariffs, immigration, etc. But the modern US attitudes on all these issues is such that it has weakened the country to the point where we cannot maintain the empire. We should roll things back to a more reasonable, pre WWII level and be done with it.
I guess you mean try to discredit the straw poll and not CPAC as an organization? Ok. Ron Paul Wins CPAC Straw Poll - The Caucus Blog - NYTimes.com Students? Yeah those guys really "rock the vote". Romney won this straw poll 3 yrs running and lost the nomination to McCain. And how many of those 10,000 people actually voted? So he pulled in 30% 0f 30%? Might explain the overwhelming boos when RP was announced. I actually like some of Ron Paul's positions but he will never get the nomination. Does he owe you $?
Look at the so called conservative whimper. RP is changing the mind of the young people in this country. When they finally get the old neo cons out-numbered the revolution will come. RP will be on the ballot in 2012 and there won't be another challenger nomination or not. Why not vote with some integrity...
