    at the end of the season it is one loss...

    at least it was an east team and we havent lost a tie breaker... we have to beat south carolina and take care of business still

    If Les Miles star is fading then so is mine.

    I have some issues as we all do and i am sure Les has those same ones.

    Lets be honest we all knew with a young QB and new D co-ordinators we might stumble a few times this year.

    Our d has been soft and we were able to win anyway.

    This is a heads up to be more aggressive and start causing some turnovers.

    I am most dissapointed in our offensive and defensive lines. As one other poster said they were dominated and that was surprising to me.

    It is the strength of our team on both sides.

    The team was not ready to play. It was obvious. Whose job is it to get the team ready to play?

    This is a fixable problem, fortunately. It does not mean that LSU is finished for the year.

    Maybe I wasn't clear enough. Coaching always shares responsibility.

    All I'm saying is that Florida BEAT LSU last night. And the lion's share of that reality has to be born on the shoulders of the O and D lines, who had their asses handed to them. By a very good football team.

    I agree it's fixable. In fact, I don't even really think it's a problem. Like you and I and almost everyone has said all year long - LSU was never going undefeated this year. The 51 points is a bit stunning. But it's Florida. If the OL and DL show up against USCe (with appropriate coaching :grin:), we're back in bidness...

    C'mon Red. If ever a coach could figure out how to motivate these youngsters for every game he would be able to write his own ticket. Clearly, they weren't mentally prepared but you know as well as I do that the coaches tried hard to get them ready.

    A lot of the responsibility for ensuring we are mentally focused and ready to go falls on the captains and Seniors. We certainly weren't ready Saturday night and that's hard to fathom considering what was at stake.

    Just like it was unbelieveable that we didn't go out and take care of business there 2 years ago, on the day that Arkansas beat AU and gave us a shot to win the West. But Florida was the better team that day, too.

    This loss could end up being huge for us. Sometimes getting crushed like that can send a message to the team. It could also be the start of a massive fall apart though.. Let's hope not:geaux:
