    It was Zach Lee and don't get excited. Baseball teams are like congress...wait until the last minute. No way they don't pony up. Mahtook at 31 was a steal. Mikie knows it and they know Mikie knows.

    Logically I know we don't have a shot at keeping him, but I still hate having the possibility drawn out until the last minute. I don't think his draft position has any bearing on him signing or not. The key is that he has leverage over them because of his ability to stay at LSU.

    was reported at 10:59 that the rays signed mm8. hate to see him geaux, but no one deserves it more.

    i hope he has one helluva career! thanks for being a tiger, mikie.
