I'll admit this is a litte far fetched...but check out this thread. http://boards.espn.go.com/boards/mb/mb?sport=ncaa&id=ncf&tid=1943449&tsn=21
OU beating Mizzou is almost a given...But West Virginia losing to Pitt is a problem. If we win SECCG, we will jump VT.
West Virginia losing to Pitt in their own backyard is worse than a problem - it's an impossibility. Pitt is a very bad football team this year. :helmet:

I'm no BCS Guru, but I do understand mathematics. If we win and only Mizzou loses, I don't think our computer ranking will go up enough to overtake Ohio State in the final BCS rankings. This past week we were at .79 averaging 7th across the board in the computers, while tOSU was .91, which averaged about 3rd. I have crunched these numbers a bit, and we will get a pretty good computer boost this weekend with a win.
I would agree but this year has proven the whole "Any given Saturday" saying... so who knows. Give me my SEC Championship and I will be happy.
How about we just look forward to the SECC. That is going to be a great accomplishment in itself considering all the drama going on right now. If we can pull off a win in Atlanta, I'll be satisfied. :thumb: :LSU231: :geaux:
I was listening to Colin Cowherd a few minutes ago and he was TRASHING OHIO STATE. Basically, his point was- they've played a cream puff schedule, and won a weak Big 10 conference. He went on to say they looked slow vs Illinois, and UF last year in the title game. He said there is no way they deserve to be in the NC game again this year. He says that if they make it again this year they will be faced with the same humiliation as last year. He even tourtured a Buckeyes fan when the guy called in trying to make a case for tOSU. It was hilarious. Just throwing that out there. :geaux:
