Stranger things have happened. Its not like the coach hasnt done wacky things before. Of course some will think its all a ploy to make other teams have to gameplan for a rb at the wr spot. Others will see how dumb it is if it actually happened.

Armand Williams will be the next terrance tolliver at least.

Agreed. I just do not see Ware playing WR....if any of the RB's were going to move, IMO Blue would be the obvious choice.

I would not be surprised to see one of the RB's moved to WR, just not Ware.

At the moment, it seems as though we have an abundance of both RBs and WRs. I guess that Blue would be a better fit at WR than Ware but honestly don't think either is needed at that position.

What about Magee? Is he a good enough talent that we need to find ways to get him on the field or should he redshirt (assuming no injuries to other RBs)?

Another dumb comment. Does anyone seriously think that Spencer Ware is going to be a threat to any credible defense if he's split out wide? Maybe we can split out Copeland....or we can switch Freak and Tyrann Mathieu's positions, I mean, like, they're both, um, natural athletes....

They're NOT going to put a 5'11', 223 lb RB at a WR position, especially when we have FOURTEEN PHUCKING WIDE RECEIVERS on the roster taller and faster than him, people who actually have experience playing the phucking position btw.

Spencer Ware is the LAST person to be used as a gimmick. He is not shifty. Decent hands, yes, good lateral and open field movement, not so much. He's a straight ahead bull, but if this past season showed anything, it showed that Hilliard is definitely a cut above at tailback.

As far as the Armand WIlliams comment goes, the dude actually has to work his way up the depth chart and get PT before he can the next "anybody". He will not be seeing the field much this season.

Shep, Beckham Jr., Wright, Landry, and Boone will all share PT before anyone else at the position.

Have some kryptonite and a smile. :D

While I completely agree with you, Anquan Boldin plays WR and he probably can't even run 4.8 anymore.

Yeah, but Anquan Boldin IS a wide receiver, Spencer Ware is not, plain and simple.

I see no move to WR for Ware. But we have a talent logjam at running back and players that need PT. With a true passing quarterback, I would not be surprised to see some full-house backfields with running backs shifting into the slot and running pass routes along with a power running game.

Like I said, I fully agree that Ware is no WR, but it's not due to his 40 time.
