You guys are right. I probably DID jump the gun on Les. It's just that after last season I guess I got a little paranoid myself. I'll stick around but I have to say I don't post a whole lot, just if I have some input that I think is worth typing. For instance I can keep you all up to date on what is happening with Ali, Early, & Herman with the Cardinals. I have to say Herman is doing REAL good at RT and his playing weight is down to 360 or a little less for foot speed. By the way, is there any web site or something where I can pick up the ULL game? In Arizona I got the 1st game on ESPN but last week I had to log on to a suggested site and watched the game on my computer.
I cant help but think that there is SOME truth to the article. As mentioned though, when confident Miles is anything but very conservative. I think the problems with Lee are a big part of it. Fact is though, JJ is there and you have to go down the field at some point. LSU hasnt really even looked for much intermediate passes. Rain or not, when your QB completes 20 passes for only 130 something yards somethings not right. Its a cumulative effect from ultra conservative play calling, inconsistent QB play, and horrible pass blocking. I also post in a MMA forum. There are many huge college football fans and even a Wisconsin fan commented that with the talent LSU has there is no reason they look so flat on O. Getting back to the article, I think last season was a VERY poor coaching job by Miles. Which I think is effecting him this year with JJ. That said, this years squad is much more cohesive on the defensive end. Fact is we won two tough games, and are a work in progress. Im still feeling very good about this years team. A lot of work though to compete with Florida, Bama, and Ole Miss.

You think CLM might be running a vanilla O to keep his cards close to his chest, or is it to teach them that they can win using basics, so when they get in a tight game and the down field passes aren't working they can go with the basics and still have the confidence to win the game? Last year the team gave up due to the pick 6's and the D's lack of communication, maybe a slower start is what we need, more time to perfect the down field attack? I think the D is improving every game so far, so why shouldn't they keep improving? I, for one, are not making CLM voodoo dolls! (Now CUM dolls, thats another story!):geauxtige:helmet::geauxtige:crystal::champs::geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige
