Every now and then, this conversation comes up on boards, sports talk radio, etc. when there's a dominant college team. USC '04 comes to mind. And the clear answer is always the same: not a chance in hell. Even this year's Colts could run up the score. It's like playing a team of All-Americans at every position, with vastly more experience.
No, would not even be close. The worst team in the NFL would beat the College NC by 40 points. Easy..... Ask anyone who played college and in the NFL, the speed and size is vastly different. Think about it all those men play college football and a very few of them every get into the NFL. It is the best of the best.
Think about it, would the best West Monroe or John Curtis team be able to beat an SEC team? Same difference imo, the step up is way too big and the talent pupil shrinks way up. Add in the experience, bulk, coaching, players being in the system for many years, etc. and out makes for a no contest.
OK OK !!! I just got caught up in the hype. I didn't think it was possible, but I just wanted to see what you guys thought.
