I have a feeling that some type of discussion is going on behind the scene that is either dealing with some type of lower buyout or a reduction in salary. I know it's unheard of, but Jimbo can stand his ground and get booed out of his home stadium every time he steps on the field or he can quietly accept a lower buyout and move on or take a smaller salary, which will buy him a little more time to get this ship going in the right direction (which is never going to happen). The fans have turned on him and he's going to have to make a tough decision real soon.
Yep, its a train wreck, and the train is totalled: BREAKING: Texas A&M mascot Reveille suspended indefinitely (msn.com)
Big news today is Jimbo skipped a scheduled meeting with the ESPN announcer calling the game, which has never happened. He didn't call or inform anyone he was not coming. On top of that, it's being reported that his agent, Jimmy Sexton, is also in college station right now. Could be nothing, or it could be the end of the Jimbo era at A&M!
I started to like your post, but didn’t as I am unsure that I really want to see him get canned. What I really like is seeing A&M as a mediocre team forever. But knowing that he is a mediocre coach,he may be the best possible option for them to remain so. But on the other hand, seeing A&M sink into a total s**t show every few years and then have their entitled rich boosters shell out a $100 million or so on buyouts and the next mediocre coach is also very rewarding.
Someone said A&M found their quarterback. After last night, I assume they lost him again. 13 straight incompletions.
We may have put at least one nail in Sabans coffin. There are already enough nails in Jimbo's coffin. Great day to be a Tiger fan!
