  5. Baby Huey is here as long as the fan base tolerates 9-3. No better no worse. Not to shock you but I’m giving him a pass this season. 2018 will be the residue of why Elmer should’ve been fired two seasons earlier than the axe came down.
    Baby Huey is no Curley Hallman but we’re light years behind Bama now and I don’t see that changing under the current regime.

  9. That conflicts with the "losing so many juniors" narrative--one I agree with.

    It also conflicts with what we knew about Miles' teams at this point each season. There was a running threat and we knew who and how it would come. While you follow the Tigers closer than I do it's been a LONG time since fans of other SEC teams looked at the running backs returning for LSU dismissively. It's a question I've not heard a lot, but it's one I can't set aside: where's the returning production with the running back corps?
