I had hoped that LSU would win last night, but was not expecting it ---- I was expecting a much more competitive game.
Can a bottle of wine or a 32 oz. rum and Diet Coke count as pain meds? If so, my house is well-stocked. I'll be at a ballet company fundraising gala for most of next Saturday night. If I happen to see the score before I flip to my DVR once I get home, will I even want to watch it?
Auburn certainly deserves credit. They are a damn good team. Auburn showed up ready to play and put it on LSU from the get go. The other thing is Auburn did not let up at all. I honestly thought LSU was going to show up ready to play. I honestly thought LSU would be in the game through out and possibly even win. I know I have criticized Miles but one thing is he always seems to come up with a big win, when his back is against the wall. I knew it would be tough but I thought LSU was gonna put up a fight. When I seen the first O series and then Auburn mauling through the LSU D for a TD I had a feeling it was not gonna turn out well.
Yes to the first question. I've never been to a ballet company fundraising gala but you might want to extend your stay. The Vegas spreads aren't out, but I suspect this could be a 7 - 6 game.
I believe that would be a final score prediction. And he could definitely be correct--if our defense can stop Florida's pathetic offense. We'll see.
Well they certainly don't look like them . . . They are playing like them for sure. Despite the greater size, speed, and athleticism of this team, they are not playing smart football. Part of that is youth and inexperience in a tough division, part is coaching, and part of it is players giving a damn enough to improve. I don't think anyone believes that this team has peaked. It will continue to get better as young players get experience the hard way on the field. It won't happen quickly. But this team wasn't as good as people thought last week and they aren't as bad as people think this week. I don't think they will get Les fired.
I get what you're saying Red, but there is no improvement in this team. There is no improvement in gameplanning or starting off the game well. That is the scary part.
