This team will be better next season if two things happen 1st find a qb 2nd if this team plays the rest of this season like they have so far . Well the pros will not come knocking on their door . So they if they want to be a pro , will have to become better a lot better players . It is the talent level that we have . They are not as good as we have hoped them to be .Oh yes they looked great in HS but the SEC is just a little bit tougher than local hometown football . How many Louisiana players left the state of Louisiana to play for another college ?? And were they good as , or better than the ones we got ?? We may need better Benefit Packages
Add John Chavis to the list "game has passed him by". I think there are far more problems than youth.
I don't care if he goes, but these losses don't bother me like they would if we had a nice handful of juniors and seniors. He's recruited well, they just left early. These guys will get tired of getting their brains beat in and mature along the way and return the favor. And if we happen to pull off a fluke win and ruin Ole Miss shot at ever representing the West, that's the kind of shit I'll have to hang my hat on till these babies grow up.
It is really funny how you take what I did not say and try to make some keyboard warrior point out of it. I'll make this really simple.........he better get back to the most basic skill REQUIRED in defense, tackling........then he can move on to stopping what college offenses have become.
I was officially off the miles sunshine pumping express after he refused to play Harris in the St. Game until the end. I hope Michigan buys his contract out and gives him 6 million a year
Just listening to him in the post game interview and him saying the defense tackled and played hard made me wanna punch him in the throat, what fucking game was he watching
Call it whatever you want, this defense is one of the worst seen in the Miles era. Whose fault is it?
Wow... how everyone so easily turns from their previous beliefs! LOL! And, sadly, it's a feeling that seems to be popular in LSU country this morning. For me personally, I've always defended Miles but after what I've seen so far this season I must now "easily turn" from that belief. We're running the same old plays over and over. It's like they're recycling 3 plays. I think Les has lost creativity. These kids we have aren't fully to blame, but didn't any of you feel like some of them didn't seem hungry enough? Our defense is lacking in players that "make things happen" (i.e. Tyrann Mathiew). Our QB's (both) look like they came straight from H.S. and just started playing without any college training. In fact, most of the team are playing like this. Didn't the staff train these guys? Sure, they did, but you wouldn't think so watching them run around out of position half the time. Tackling is lack luster and sad looking. And they played like this even in the games they've won so far. Auburn has a lot of new kids too, but they were RUTHLESS out there, one even got ejected. I thought Harris would be an improvement but that poor kid looked like he was in a state of everlasting PANIC MODE, (deer in headlights?). He's too jittery, running out of the pocket when he doesn't have to. He'll come around, but he needs TRAINING, and lots of it. He needs to be put in that same threatened position constantly in practice. I don't know guys, there's a lot wrong here. But I'm with most who blame the staff. What happened with Cam? His offense last year did great. What's going on with the Chief? Our defense used to be FEARED... now they look like sheep amongst the wolves out there. And these players need to wake up... someone needs to train them but they need to make things happen - on both sides of the ball. Those NFL people ain't interested in sheep! I tell you friends, I think we may see some big changes come at LSU after this season (if not before the end of it).
