If Florida and Alabama go to the BCS Championship and Sugar Bowl that leaves eight SEC bowl tie-ins for the remaining eight bowl eligible teams. (Vandy & MSU will be home for the holidays)

    1) Capital One
    2) Cotton
    3) Outback
    4) Chick-fil-A
    5) Liberty
    6) Music City
    7) Independence
    8) Papajohns

    Ole Miss 8-3 (@ MSU)(2008-Cotton)
    LSU 8-3 (Arkansas)(2008-Chick-fil-A)
    Arkansas 7-4 (@ LSU)(2007-Cotton)
    Kentucky 7-4 (Tennessee)(2008-Liberty)
    Auburn 7-5 (Regular season over)(2007-Chick-fil-A)
    Georgia 6-5 (@ Georgia Tech)(2008-Capital One)
    Tennessee 6-5 (@ Kentucky)
    South Carolina 6-5 (Clemson)(2008-Outback)

If we win I'm sure the Cotton Bowl would love to have us since we haven't been there since playing Texas seven years ago. The last two times Ole Miss went to a bowl ('08 & '04) they played in the Cotton. They haven't played in any of the top five since 1992 so some may want to grab them while they have the chance.

LSU just needs to win to wrap up the Cotton or Capital One. Even if they lose, I don't think the Music City is in their future although I would prefer that over the Outhouse Bowl.

lol c'mon, 1 PM is fine

Cotton Bowl would be perfect. Decent bowl, new stadium. Getting a win over a solid Big 12 team would be great.

Living in Memphis, the president of the Liberty said that if LSU loses, the Outback would be still be interested in LSU, but if LSU is passed on the Liberty Bowl would be the one to swipe LSU up, and most likely playing Houston.

Anything BUT the Outhouse Bowl! They don't deserve us. They need another 6-6 SEC East team. It's the only bowl I don't request tickets for. They've screwed the West before so I hope we return the favor. DECLINE!
