It caught on because we react to it....it hurt our pride and because it is so false and we protest too much. They do it for our reaction.
I like corn dogs fine but agree they are more for kids. It's odd that this story has grown to the point of Miles being interviewed about it. I tell people that Auburn fans can't understand our diverse Cajun cuisine so they just compare it to something they know well - corn dogs.
I laugh at the poor Barners. Fans with some style say "Tiger Bait", "Boomer Sooner" or "Roll Tide". The freaking Barners holler "corn dog, corn dog" and giggle. I mean, it is the lamest taunt I've ever heard with the possible exception of "Hoddy Toddy". All you can do is laugh, shake your head, and ask them why they are obsessed with wiener products.
Hebrew National makes a great all beef corndog and it is the only brand I will get for my kids. Quick and easy pre-soccer snack.
completely wrong. no one has any idea what it means to even know how to react to it. much less care. its funny to other fanbases because the idea is funny. they just have no idea it makes no sense.
NOTHING could be gayer than yelling hoddy toddy unless it would be Go Cocks. If I was a fan of either Ole Miss or South Carolina I would wear a bag over my head at games,
