well he did say he was impressed with A&M's as well, but I guess the LSU engineering department was up to snuff for him
Bhelm - I guess it is safe to assume that by signing Thompson the LC deal is a done deal no way he flips is that how you read it?
Thompson's senior highlights, and he played Texas 5A (the highest division in Texas) and his high school is in the Houston metro area (great concentration of talent) [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuocZ4k6KtI"]Corey Thompson (senior highlights) - YouTube[/ame] you can see why Scout.com wrote that: also note that he wears #7... another great in the PP7/TM7 line?
I watched the videos of Landon Collins and Corey Thompson here on the forums. I really like Thompson's style of play. He is punishing tackler. A few years down the road, I think we'll be happy about how this thing played out. :geaux:
I'd guess funny, but not sure it is. Anywho, I can say in my opinion, I don't see Liggins playing QB for LSU. With that said, I can also say my opinion WAS I couldn't see LSU taking a QB/DL, unless they were certain he was a QB. I don't know what to make of the guy. Amazing physical specimen...that hasn't ever played with his hand in the dirt. I don't understand the staff taking him as a DL project. Yet still don't see him as a QB at LSU. Tight end?
