Notice you conveniently left out we BEAT the team that beat us last year and set an offensive record doing it, that was Moo U in case you forgot. Did you purposely leave that out or was a mistake? You also conveniently forgot to talk about the history of the game and that even in 2019 we had to make a 20 point comeback to beat them. You forgot to mention it's ALWAYS a battle to the last minute with these guys. I am confused. You say like everyone here, including me, that our O Line sucks yet you expect us to beat everyone. Which is it?
Well I am not wondering if we can beat Kentucky maybe you and most others here are. A lot people here were wondering if we would beat Moo U and even CMU. I called wins for both those games and never wondered if we would beat them. However I DID wonder if we were going to beat Auburn. I am calling a win this weekend against Kentucky. I am 100% on my calls this year. Auburn I called as a 50/50 toss up and didn't make a prediction about UCLA on purpose because I needed to see what we looked like. Not arguing with you just stating my position.
Why are they worse? Why would especially Moo U be worse? Last year was the pirates first year so this year should be better and more organized. Texas A&M was supposed to challenge Bama this year and thought to be a much better team than last year. They beat Moo last year they lost to them this year. So is Moo U worse than last year even though they beat A&M and lost to us or maybe WE really ARE better than last year and so is Moo U.
It’s hard to tell who is better or worse Kiki. To me it’s more that we have dropped from being in the upper tier of teams to the vast morass of mediocrity that defines the SEC other than Alabama and Georgia this year. That’s not acceptable no matter what the record.
It wasn't by convenience, I was only discussing our most recent game. The fact that we are evening discussing a 3 point win over Mississippi State argues my entire point for me and shows how far LSU has fallen. I'm not sure what game you're referencing in 2019. But at no point in 2019 did we trail Auburn by 20. Their largest lead was 3 and LSU was winning by 10 with 2 & half minutes remaining. Auburn vs. LSU - Game Summary - October 26, 2019 - ESPN Its not ALWAYS a battle, they beat us by 40 last year. I do not expect to beat “everyone” and have never even alluded to that. While our o-line is bad, Saturday's game was squandered away by piss poor coaching, clock management and a complete lack of adjustments. The only thing "crazy" about it, is that nobody has been fired over it yet.
Then you have higher hopes than I do for this season. And if we are better than Auburn, we should have beaten them. Time will tell, and your opinion may be more accurate than mine. But I expect that well lose at least 3 more SEC games
