OK we all know you are great at the logical fallacy of begging the question. Excusing that, I think you are really reaching and not trying to understand what I actually said just so you can make a not good point.

Southerntgr, you are correct. He wrote church. Church, by definition is not just the building that you go to on Sundays.

It is up to the reader to know definitions of words, and thus interpret the written word correctly. It is not the author's responsibility to "dumb things down" for the reader.

    From your definition:

"4. ( sometimes initial capital letter ) any division of this body professing the same creed and acknowledging the same ecclesiastical authority;"

Ecclesiastical- of or relating to a church especially as an established institution.

Institution - a significant practice, relationship, or organization in a society or culture; something or someone firmly associated with a place or thing.

a church is an instiution. You said a chuch. You can't receive medical help at a church. Can't be done unless you are God.

The Apostle's Creed of "holy catholic church" would probably throw her into a tailspin.

You can receive medial care at an institution..

    in·sti·tu·tion

       [in-sti-too-shuhn, -tyoo-] Show IPA
noun 1. an organization, establishment, foundation, society, or the like, devoted to the promotion of a particular cause or program, especially one of a public, educational, or charitable character: This college is the best institution of its kind.

    2. the building devoted to such work.

Aside from your lack of understanding the English language, there are in fact other forms of healing. You know, healing of the soul.

The nuns at OLOL are not ladies from the church. They are the church.

Members of my church build wheel chair ramps at people's homes. These people are the church, as in the church at work in the community.

The hospital itself is the church. Why can't you grasp this?

I think that is one, holy, catholic, and Apostolic.

I really hope it is just her being deliberately argumentative and contrarian.
