That seem to be what has always been missing at LSU. The lack of consistency at LSU is just frustrating. The JJ years ... some times he was on , sometimes he didn't even need to be in stands, let alone on the field. Last year, we beat ATM, and almost beat Bama, but lost to a way under matched Florida! This year is the same, we just have no consistency. It's the only team I've seen "Regress" in a season without injuries. You watch Bama ... they do the same thing over and over again. .. but you can count on them doing the same thing over and over again Consistently! Can LSU beat Bama?? Sure they can .. but it depends on which LSU shows up. If Mett is throwing the ball like he was in the beginning of the year, and the run game is clicking, and the defense actually shows up and plays .... [well ... maybe the defense is less of a factor], it is possible that LSU "outscores" Bama. But .. if the offense that has showed up the last two games is on the field, LSU is going to get beat bad. They will get beat bad because we can count on Bama playing exactly as they have been playing, improving with each game. We cannot count of Bama comming out and laying an egg. The lack of consistency really just makes no sense at all.
LSU has been one of the most consistent teams the last decade. Having a shitty defense changes that. We lost 8 players to the nfl draft. Never done before. Anyone who thought this was a nc team wore blinders. It's expected from lsu fans. The concern is there is no improvement and les is still kinda dumb.
