Congressional Research Service Report On Tax Cuts

here's one: this reports proves that the entire Republican scheme for economic growth is a sham. the entire premise of the Republican's economic platform is that the lower taxes go, the more the economy will grow. this report clearly refutes that claim and also further validates my earlier post stating that there is no correlation between tax cuts and economic growth. so here it is in black and white from a non-partisan group.

 

Pride, as I recall you and I had a rather heated debate about this very thing after I created a thread stating that there was absolutely no correlation between tax cuts and economic growth. you cited blog after partisan blog to prove yourself but here it is in plain english for you my friend.....oh, and from a non-partisan group comprised of members of both parties.

 

Bush didn't have any growth? None at all?

 

Tiger, there is NO correlation between ANY SINGLE THING and growth. Its common sense. Not a single factor ALONE will shift growth one way or another. TOO many variables.

You can't win an argument with liberals using truth or common sense. They spin and manipulate numbers and have enough uneducated voters in their pocket (that's why they love giving entitlements) to win elections. People are stupid and will continue to vote for the guy who buys their vote.

Here's NCTiger's take: If you pay Obama $1,000,000,000 to backfill Lake Michigan and four years later he has thrown a few rocks in the lake...then he's succeeding.

It doesn't matter what you say, do, or prove. His head is up Obama's rear and he'll continue to be a puppet for the left. There's really nothing more to say.

 

Less tax = more money in pocket = more spending power = stimulate economy

Govt borrowing = inflated economy

 

exactly! so why do the Republicans keep acting like all they have to do it cut taxes and everything will be alright? the answer is a very nuanced one that cannot be explained in a single sound bite yet the Repubs act like it's a two words answer: tax cuts.
