Fuck you and your negative ass. Support us when things are going well, but jump ship when some water splashes on it. I've grown very tiresome of your best ever, worst ever view of the world. Wake up and realize that in most peoples lives, including top athletes, top teams, and top coaches, there are ups and downs, ebbs and flows. Commitment. It's not just a word. It's a worthwhile mantra, amigo.
If only there were something to support this blind loyalty. Like a win against the gumps now and then. What has grown very tiresome is the same ol shit that les runs out there year after year. Oh wait, what is that? I think I hear Red about to tell us this is the golden age of LSU football. lol Right
Commitment doesn't mean blind support. You don't get better with a bunch of yes men around you, you confront your faults like a man, swallow your pride, and right the ship.
When Verne Lundquist calls your offense 'old fashioned', then it is truly antiquated since he's been around since the leather helmet days. I just don't understand why they don't spread the field and let Fournette find naturally occuring running lanes; especially when Moore went down for good. They should also give Guise a few more carries, if for nothing else than a change of pace and to spell Fournette. It really is such a downer to see the same old tired offense trotted out game after game. Where were the screens, misdirections, and counters to slow down an aggressive, overpursuing defense? Football 101 and we continue trying to force a square peg into a round hole. The worse thing that could ever happen to a gump fan is to see Miles depart LSU.
Well, I agree with you, but that is not what the clown who I my comment was directed toward, who created this thread, does. He has a flare for the drama, much like America's media.
Well it is. Name me a better era of LSU football. You can't. You just keep wishing for perfection, for LSU to never lose a game to a better team, for Nirvana, Elysian fields, and free lunch.
