Dude, (I assume), if I have issues, then so do most on this thread...as most that have posted are in agreement. But that's besides the point, because I don't base my opinion on what others think. Initially, I stated I hope AU loses...every game. This didn't just start. I've NEVER liked AU. I didn't feel for them when they didn't get to play in the BCSNCG in '04, and quite frankly, thought it was hilarious. The fact that they're in the BCSNCG this season doesn't change my mind. I don't wish a plane crash on them or anything, but it would be OK with me if they all come down with food poisoning/flu/herpes/justice or something like that right before the game. I don't like AU. If that's an "issue", then yeah...I have an "issue". If you wanna root for AU, root for AU. I couldn't care less.
Sure. Root for anyone you want. I just don't get the hate. It's a friggin' football game. Stress will kill you young, if you let it, Fish. And I don't understand the lack of SEC camaraderie. What's good for the SEC is good for LSU.
I like you, Red. No homo. I've explained the reasonS for my AU hatred. And there are a few more unnamed reasons. It won't kill me...trust me. If it gets too bad, I'll go fishing. Like I said...I'm an LSU fan. Not an SEC fan. I do respect the hell out of the SEC, and think it's the best conference in football. This year, I think the west is the best division of the best conference in football. Still hate AU, though. :thumb:
This. Keeping the Crystal in the SEC will always benefit LSU if we do what we need to do as a team... in the end though I think until definitive proof is found Cam should get the benefit of the doubt. Here's to another conference NC in '10.
If using the '98 season National Champion to do so isn't "hyperbole" then okay. :yelwink2: They go on fishing trips too. He's just very passionate. Also gets a little pent-up when he can't get out and do some fishin. Sure doesn't sound like it. :hihi:
Thus the word 'more' right before 'hyperbole' in my statement. But I am moving off this thread... My Tigers are coming to visit me in Dallas and that is my focus.
