Why does anyone have to cheer for anyone. Cheer for LSU in Cotton Bowl. Who cares who wins all the other games. If Auburn wins, good for the SEC, even better when their title is stripped. If Oregon wins, who cares. We get a chance to kick their ass in the first game of the season next year. So, their "we are better than the SEC" attitude will be short lived.
Exactly. My kids ask me every Sat and Sun when we are watching football, in games that LSU and the Saints are not in, "so who are you cheering for daddy?" I tell them no one, I really don't care, for most of the games. There are some that I do have a side. I generally will cheer for the Green Bay Packers, 2nd favorite NFL team, some SEC teams in OOC games, but I will always cheer for who ever beats Dallas, and whoever Beats Bama. I did have a slip in that in the SEC Championship game this year, a mistake I will never make again.
