It's not offensive to LSU fans. It's an amusing sideshow.

Personally, whether you're ULL, UL-Lafayette, UL or Louisiana, it shouldn't offend ANY LSU fan. My reasoning? Why should they care?!?! It doesn't hurt/affect us.

Those that will rip the Cajuns because you refer to yourselves as "Louisiana" or "UL" suffer from superiority complexes and just constantly want to feel superior by insulting everyone else.

Maybe I'm more sympathetic to the Cajuns because my uncle was an All-conference player for the Cajuns from '79-'83 (and was selected to school's 25-year team back in '96)??

Hit the nail on the head... Its all penis envy. The UL people want to prove that their cocks are as large as those at LSU. LSU's feels threatened because the young kid down the road might possible be growing into a man. Both just have typical male inferiority issues.

Maybe so but I've never ever heard it called that. If someone would've told me they went to "A" I would've been like..."A what".

To call it "A" there has to be some understood prerequisite knowledge.

Maybe for people in Alexandria but everywhere else it's known as LSU-A and same with LSU-E

I may be in the minority with the following thought and others have debated it within this forum (other threads) but will repeat it again:

While LSU and ULL may never be competitive on the same level in football, I do feel that it helps the LSU program if ULL stays down. This LSU team has so much depth, it's really incredible. If ULL had a solid program (imagine two years from now - possibly with a playoff system replacing the archaic bowl system), players like Ford/Blue, T. Simon, etc. may decide to attend ULL to be "the man" rather than go to LSU and compete with superstars each year and have guys like Hilliard that can come in and even pass you up.

Everyone says Louisiana has so much talent that it doesn't matter. I disagree and feel that even a small reduction in the quantity of quality talent is enough to have me pulling against the Cajuns. Or maybe it's just all of the subtle (and not so subtle) attacks I see on LSU from ULL fans on Facebook that is my underlying issue with them.

If LSU can continue pulling in recruits from all of the country, then maybe it's not as big of an effect if the Cajuns rise up. I'm just a little skeptical that we can continue getting guys from Miami/Cincinatti/Indiana/etc forever.

I will add that I have about 5-10 friends that genuinely root for both LSU and ULL because of the apples to oranges thing. It's the other die-hard ULL fans that hate LSU and are high-fiving each other when Georgia blows us out three years ago.

Some of the criticism towards LSU fans are actually valid. I've even said similar things to other fellow LSU fans (about our bad apples). It's just one of those things thats easier to digest when it's coming from within the family versus an outsider telling you your kids are ugly (which is kind of what it feels like).
