:geaux: I think the Cards just had their big hurrah. I ain't sayin' no score, but I am sayin' it's Steelers all the way! :LSU231:
Was at Heinz field last night, a helluva game. I agree, I don't think Arizona is capable of beating Pittsburgh. This was the third game I was able to attend. I don't think you can beat Pittsburgh even with a running game. They're too complete of a team this year. Their only weakness is the offensive line. The hit by Clark on MaGahee was unreal. I hope MaGahee is alright. The game was delayed quite awhile before he was carted off the field. Clark is perfect for this team, they're defined by hard hitting. I don't remember Clark being that physical while at LSU, I think he's gotten more physical since being in the pro's. He well-loved here.
Its being report that he is "neurologically intact": http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=508689
And I imagine will be a bit lighter in the wallet. Not sure if its intentional or not, but as big of a hit as it was and it being helmet to helmet. They will fine him whether the flag was thrown or not. At least I think they will.
yes .. shoulder to head .. was not head to head .. completely clean, he even took 2-3 steps before getting hit .. usually they get hit before they turn their heads upfield but unfortunately he saw this one coming he was just too slow to react
agreed, why would a player go helmet to helmet anyway, they have just as much a chance of getting injured as the one being hit. I kinda feel for McGahee, that dude is never going to want to go over the middle again.
It is really ashame that Faneca had to be traded away to the Jets. If any Tiger ever deserved a ring it would be him. Best OL we ever had!
