Yeah, we REALLY needed Scott to just make some big runs for us and he did it today by getting in the end zone twice. He didn't have a great game up until that run and was averaging about 3.4 a carry. But that doesn't matter if you can just have one or two big ones when it counts. I will say that on my list of ways LSU could possibly win, I think a long run by Scott would have been last based on how the season has gone. But that's why they play the game. I thought he ran noticeably harder today out the gate. It reminded me of the Auburn game last year when he just kept moving the pile after he was hit. This is what he said after the game: Q: You hit the hole, but you had to break past a couple of their defenders, right? A: Our running back coach stressed to me all week, he was like, 'Don't let one guy tackle you. One guy don't bring you down by himself.' I just came out with a will, and a whole different attitude the whole night. I wouldn't let one guy take me down. I played mad. I played with controlled rage, and we preached that all week, and that's why it came out good.
not garbage. hes not what you call a football player. plays a good game here and there and thats what you get. just how it is really. its a mentality. he doesnt have it. doesnt mean he wont have his moments. just wont be consistency. his talent shines thru on occasion in spite of it. anyone else think that was a gutless non-call on the safety?
Yeah, LSU won today, Saban-lover. So you're not pleased, well you can suck it. Eat it. Geaux Tigers. But you are welcome back when you decide to jump back on the LSU bandwagon again in the future (why not now????)
you shouldn't use a pistol to hammer nails in the wall. Use the guy for what he is good at, and i promise you, you will see 5 at his best.
I certainly thought it was at first, but what do you say about a QB who didn't know where he was throwing the ball but certainly threw it in the direction of one of his players? If he had thrown it closer, we intercept it. I think that's why they didn't call it.
lets review: you keep reminding everyone about ten lsu teams that lost - on a day we had a great victory. you think im the one off the bandwagon? please for the love of god someone ban this insane mother****er. what a lucky sob. i guess there was a wr over there and he may have been outside of the pocket. he still shouldnt have been rewarded for that. reminds me of clausen in tiger stadium during that monday night game.
oh i agree he could be used differently. i was as big of a #5 guy from the beginning but hes certainly been not as advertised by any stretch. a 220+ lb guy who cannot break a tackle.
was obvious he had no clue where he was throwing it. i think intent should play into it. is it me or does bob stoops look like he has a touch of downs syndrome?
I was going to say the same thing but my mouse kept going to the top right of the screen. Stupid mouse. His DC definitely does. That QB's mustache is delicious.
