People can't see the forest for the trees. We have a solid head coach who understands young men and the game of football. He's a uniquely talented gentlemen with a knack for winning bowl games and championships. I don't understand all of the hate for Coach Miles. It's true that I called him a high school coach after losing 21-0, and, I was justifiably pilloried around here for making such a foolish remark. That was just ANGER talking back then. I'm fully on the Coach Miles team now, and, don't agree with the haters. We will be fine with Coach Miles. I look forward to many future winning seasons with him.
10-3, but 2 of those losses should have been a W. You can also argue the UF game, although injuries were a big part of that loss but the play calling was horrendous.
10-3 is good if you're Arkansas. We should be 12-1 at least but our defense and offensive play-calling absolutely choked in the Bama & Clemson losses. We had late leads in both those games and that's the difference between a championship caliber team and a good team. The 07 and 03 teams would have finished those games out with wins. We just have too much young talent that the coaches somehow don't trust even this late in the season. The coaches just somehow manage to forget how to coach when it gets to the 4th quarter. The last drive should have been all Jeremy Hill to clinch the win, just like he did against aTm and South Carolina. 10-3 is okay from on overall perspective but to see LSU blow 2 games like that...especially against Bama at home. This years team was just not destined for greatness.
