Congrats JayB. One does not see your kind of courage often. I'd like to think all the prayers helped.
Me too Stacey, I remember myself being so scared for his mom. I also remember how this board came through for a stranger, just because he was a LSU fan, and he needed us. This board was wonderful. Justin I am so glad that you are good now, and I am so proud to be your friend. Love you.
I'm so happy for JayB and his family. I was fairly new here at TF and saw his story and followed the caringbridge page. As a parent, it was an emotional ride with a "there but for the grace of God" theme. JayB and his mom are heroes and role models in my eyes. Reading the updates from his mom, I constantly wondered if I would have that strength in the same situation. The support from TF was outstanding. I salute you JayB, along with your mom and entire family. May God bless you and continue to give you health and strength! Would love to meet y'all one day, but if not, count me as a friend. :thumb:
i really did not do justice to justins mom in my post. let me add that she is a very warm and caring lady. and his sister is a sweetheart. after meeting all three, i can see why justin is the way he is. its just an all around great family!
wow. i don't know what to say, i keep trying to forget about all of this, but everyone keeps bringing it back to light! lol, i'm just kidding, but seriously, all of the people here are wonderful!! tiger fans are like no other! however, a lot of the accolades aimed toward me really should be directed toward my mom. if not for her, i wouldn't be here. this whole ordeal really just reaffirmed my believe (and faith) in God, family and good people. a lot of you have reached out to me and my family personally, and that just shows the caliber of people who are members here -- and not only tigers fans. aside from deceks, there have been MANY "opponents" who have gone the extra mile to make sure i had everything i needed. i really am humbled by everything. thanks guys! and gals!
