The thing about baseball is that even a really bad team can beat a really good team on any given day. Didn't a Southern pitcher shut LSU out for 7 innings in a regional before the Tiger bats finally got to him?
I completely agree it happens all the time. LC almost beat LSU like 10 years ago, maybe they did I can't remember. A baseball bat is the great equalizer.
That's nice but how many people really care? How many of us has ever even been to Tiger Park or even watched on TV?
That would be filed under other with track, golf, and swimming. I would like it but it doesn't amount to much. It's like winning $4 when you play for a $2 billion powerball.
