Clausen transfered after 2002-2003 school year. Writing was on the wall when JaMarcus and Matt Flynn both signed in Feb 2003. He left and sat out the 2003 season at Tenn. He ended up the starter for Tenn. by the end of the 2004 season (SEC Champ game against AU) due to injuries to both of their stud freshman QB's. Then him and Ainge went back and forth in 2005.
What case do you need to build? Young Mr. Boren seems to have no problem with paying his own way and sitting out a year. It's his decision and from what I've heard he's pretty darned happy with it. His younger brother verbaled to Ohio State earlier today and he will have a scholarship.
