I will pull for LSU to win. I can't root for terdersee or the barners.......the rest I do not root against.
LOL, let 'em keep thinking that, and the following... 1: We all live in mobile homes... 2: Are married to at least 1 cousin...(1st or 2nd...doesn't matter) 3: Have at least one family member named, Booger, Bubba or Skeeter... 4: "Coon dogs" on porch... 5: Play the "theme song" from "Deliverence" when " Yankees" come to town... Oh, and my favorite of course...(SEC speed is a myth) :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
Yeah, here were some of the more interesting comments: From my 14 years here in the south I can tell you that a good "Who won the war bitch?" will do more to rile up inbreds than anything else. They hate blacks, mexicans, chew tobaco, drink Busch, love Dale JR, and **** their sisters/mothers. **** the south, **** the SEC, and **** the Rebel flag. The SEC-Big 10 thing is looking like the classic South hating the North thing. No amount of reason will ever work with those people. An arguement based on current facts is useless with an SEC fan, such an arguement requires intelligence and most SEC fans are not equipped for such a thing. if I have to listen for a month to ESPN and the rest of the national media slobbering all over the SEC I think my head might explode. The B10 is better than SEC buttf[*edit*]ks want to realize. We are almost dead even over tha last 15 years in bowl games. Add the fact all of these bowl games are in SEC country. We need to show every SEC turd what Big 10 Football is all about.
I tend to have a few teams that I like that are spread out across the country. I am obviously an tOSU fan but also like Texas,LSU,Georgia and Penn St. So I will usually root for those teams unless they are playing tOSU. I hate with an undying passion Michigan,USC and UF As for the comments in JohnLSU posts please realize that not all us "Yanks" are like this. Do I believe the talent gap between conferences is smaller than advertised? Yes I do. People do need to realize That we do play a different brand of football up north because 4.4 speed becomes 4.8 when its cold, wet and muddy. That why I would like to see a major bowl played up north. This not a insult to warm weather schools but I would like to see a few games played in the north on a wet muddy field when its 35 degrees or even colder. This is just the humble opinion of a Yank who lives in the land of 28 hour days because we are so slow.
I am from Gadsden originally. Gadsden High '80. I use the same screen name on here , Tidefans.com, Hogville.net, and on VolNation. Vast majority of my time on Tidefans and here.
I don't cheer for the SEC in Bowl games. Then again, why would I. Go Big XII! and Coach Pelini this year!
