Nah, the new generations that see their hard work not get rewarded in-favor or possible hurt feelings will grow up and correct that IMO.

I'd like to believe that but I don't believe in the Easter Bunny either.

Every generation is different. Go look at the stats. Kids are growing up to more and more conservative.

Pretty obvious after Charlottesville and the media's distortion of the facts about the violent lefts role there that they would start heading for more. Wasn't more than 3 days and talk of erasing George Washington, John Adams surfaced. Lincoln and Columbus's statues have already been vandalised. If we let them have those symbols of America the flag and the constitution are next. Been trying to warn some here that this is just the start of the lefts steady agenda through political correctness and the use of false racism to as Obama boldly stated; " to fundamentally fundamentally transform America"

Don't let the volume of the media fool you. A post-Charlottesville poll by PBS/NPR, hardly bastions of conservatism, showed significant support for retaining statues sixty something to twenty something. Overwhelming.

Thats probably correct from what I read however that wont matter I believe. I am a big fan of Thomas Soule a brilliant coservative author of many books who happens to be black. He would call what is going on with this movement "tierany of the minority"

    tierany? LOL.

You know... if you didn't care enough in grade school to pay attention to the spelling of common words how can we trust that you pay true attention to what's going on this world? You begin every conversation at an educational disadvantage.

Tyranny, happy? Never said I spent a whole lot of time on correct spelling but rather spend that time understanding my enemies and exposing their motives to others.

And while I'm riding this high horse:

I've got family members floating in the same boat: a distrust of intellectualism. It's no accident that the more educated a population the more liberal it becomes. Enlightened people invest the necessary time and contemplation to see things from multiple angles; the mentally lazy tend to view things in black and white.
