They were all play action verticals seams and post routes too. Worked on zero bread and butter short passing plays to move the ball.
The reason we will need to run the ball against Syracuse and Troy is that if we don't, we may lose those games, too. We still have no passing game.
That's the sad part and you're 100% correct. But if we can't throw the ball on Syracuse and Troy I'm not watching another LSU game this year. My health is too important to me. LOL
I'm not sure how old you are, but for the sake of your health, you'll have to channel your inner "don't give a damn" that I used to have during the 90's where LSU football is concerned. Saban and Miles made us actually care if we won or lost. Before that, it was like, "Well, we suck," but it was "cool" when we beat Bama in '93 and Florida in '97. Glimpses, but not a lifestyle of winning.
Coach O is just spending the 1st 8 games preparing for Alabama. LMAO But seriously, could you imagine going 8-4 with a win over Bama? Alleva would give Coach O a contract extension before the team hit the showers. SMH
I grew up in the 80's and remember the 90's quite well and remember getting our ass kicked by A&M. Living in Houston those were really the only games televised at home. My dad and I would go to Mr Gattis on Saturdays (pizza place) and watched the Tigers lose quite a bit. The win over Spurriers #1 Gators in 97 I remember quite well, I was at Tiger Stadium for that one. I went to the heartbreaker against Auburn that year too. Let's just say I'm closer to 40 than I am 30 and I'm not a millennial that's for damn sure! I'm aware of how bad it was and probably will be again.
