You've been against him from the start, though I'm apt to listen better to the more recent measured approach you've taken. I sure hope Eaux isn't a colossal failure. That would suck. I'm still team O and I think we'll play smarter/better. Kind of a perfect storm this weekend, the fuckin pachyderm called it.

I agree Tap. I agree. I just can't understand how O and Canada didn't get more of the offense installed spring, summer and fall. That alone tells me O just isn't HC material. Not SEC HC material. I've kind of felt like O is a stop gap and felt that way since the hire. I think Alleva should go first and then we go find our guy. There has to be qualified coaches out there chomping at the bit. When it's all said and done, we gave O his chance. But hey, it is just 1 game and He still has the rest of the year to win me over. I'm not giving up on him, just expressing what I've felt since day 1

Are we? I think the offense could have used a spark last night and he may have had it. Kind of like when we put Brandon Harris in the day Mississippi State beat our ass on our own field in 2014. And yes, I know how that turned out for Harris. But if we're going to compare Brennan to Brandon Harris then he isn't our future and forget about it

I'm not in search of instant gratification. This isn't the 1st time I've experienced a coaching change. Not at LSU, not with the Saints, the Houston Texans, Rockets, Astros, etc. My wife is a Texas Longhorn alumni (I've felt what they've gone through and still are).

Sure there are glass half empty folks and glass half full folks. There are give Coach O a chance folks and there are we've seen what Coach O can do already and he isn't our guy folks.

I understand where everybody is coming from. Both sides of the fence.

Tell him girl he was out of line with that statement. However use another insult dont tell him to do something he would love to do.

Maybe, but it looked like we needed more than a spark. It was a full on shitshow at all levels. I imagine the waterboys sucked too.

Very difficult to debate that. But even then, if we are a total shit show the rest of the year, you still think the best option is to protect Brennan from injury and scars?

Giving him and Narcisee time to sit on the sidelines and say to themselves "man, what the hell did I get myself into" and start looking at Transfers like every other millennial now a days could sting.

It's a tough call. But if 2017 is about investing for 2018 and beyond.....sorry Danny. I say let the young QB, WR's and O Line get some game day preparation in place for next year. Don't start that in October against the SEC either. Start that against Syracuse and/or Troy.

Just can't believe we had 6 months to install an offense and we can only run the same 3 plays......

That's back when Chavis made adjustments and stopped teams in the 4th quarter too.

I now know why I was so blah going into this season.

I like Canada's offense better, I think you saw glimpses of how it's supposed to work. The evidence was the tackle overload and running opposite that got stopped, a few plays later run out of the same formation and run behind the tackles, Williams gets 6. I like the direction it's going schematically, but the O line is young, making stupid mistakes, couple that with the drops by receivers, 2 freshmen on the O line, and missed blocking assignments, that kills drives. Miles' offense was based on power, we are going to dominate you physically and put you away late. Only problem was when you play a team that's more talented physically up front, there was nothing else to go to, and you get beat without scoring. This offense is more like chess. You give a look and force the defense to make decisions you can exploit later, you are 3 and sometimes 4 moves ahead when it's working.

The defense, ugh.... just not talented up front with no Lawerence and big Ed; Logan may not be a bad 3 deep, LaCouture looks like a tight end playing defensive lineman, and for as big as Greg Gilmore is, good god, he reminds me of Freak Johnson. All size no substance. Sorely miss Jamal Adams, Devin White and Corey Thompson are the only 2 players that have shown up every game thus far, I take that back Donte has done a solid job of locking down his side of the field as well. KT2 needs a new hobby, and I may be crazy but Arden Key didn't look ready to me. He looked out of shape.

Here is my question. We blame Miles for the cupboard being bare but who was our recruiting coordinator for the last 3 seasons? Who was in charge of the defensive line? Now answer, what's the worst part of this football team?

Not sure I can say DL is the worst part of the team, but you've got a point.
