That shooting last Sunday was very sobering for this community. We generally feel pretty safe, but my 16-year-old's driving test went right by that house and through that neighborhood. We were driving there a lot last month (her driving school was adjacent to the neighborhood.) Many of her friends were affected, too, as a number of them live in the neighborhood. It was nightmarish, for sure.
I bet and I'm very sorry that your daughter and the other kids had to experience something like that so close to home. The world has gone mad. My daughters are only 5 and 3 and I'm absolutely terrified of the future and not being around to protect them.
All irrational folks who've already picked sides are laughable; y'all are as bad as the millenials wanting instant gratification.
No (see how most other schools with a successful passing attack develop young qbs behind the scenes for several years). But I do think we should get him play time and ease him in as much as possible.
Too early to KNOW this. I KNEW Miles would suck when he was awful versus TN, but his ass ended up winning a NC and a ton of games.
