Composite Recruiting Rankings

Thought some of you would find this interesting. I list all players that are either committed to LSU or have legitimate interest in committing to LSU between now and signing day. Committed players are in bold.

Athlon does this and I added Takkle to the list as well as made additional estimated projections:

Notes:
-- Some rankings are projections based on how they rank at their respective position (i.e., QB, LB, S, etc.)
-- Downs is projected as a OG on Scout, thus his low ranking. Hopefully they will reevaluate him at DT and give him a bump.
-- Hicks is projected based on whatever info I could gather. Hicks was not evaluated on ESPN.
-- Faulk on ESPN rankings is not a typo. Ranked 90th best OT (Joey Fontana is just outside the top 200).
-- I sent feedback to ESPN telling them they need to reevaluate Chris Faulk.
-- Claiborne will be properly evaluated on Rivals in the upcoming listing due out on Jan 13th.
-- Scouts, Inc. is the service that ESPN uses for it's ranking.
-- Scout.com is owned by FoxSports.com.
-- Takkle.com is the service that Sports Illustrated uses for it's ranking and is powered by NCSA.
-- O-D is the Offense-Defense Football Camp Network.
-- Emfinger is run by Max Emfinger, who resides in Plaquemine, LA and has been providing this service since 1979.

He will get a good bump in the last rankings out on the 13th. ESPN has probably the most accurate ranking on him.

 

LSU currently has 10 players in this class that have been ranked 43rd or better in at least 1 national recruiting poll. That number may expand to 13 players by NSD.
