As many of you know I live in Nashville. When Tenn beat Kentucky I could hear all this screaming going on outside my house. I looked out and most of my neighbors had run outside yelling "Go Vols". I live on this great street just across the Cumberland River from Downtown Nashville where everyone knows everyone else. Well all the excitement got me over my depression. I ran outside and started yelling LSU, LSU, LSU. Everyone stopped yelling and looked at me in stunned silence. Then the guy 3 houses down across the street started yelling LSU, LSU, LSU. The the Auburn guy came out and started yelling Bama ****'s. Before I knew it there were about 25 of my neighbors all outside in the cold yelling at the top of our lungs for their school. I was out numbered but had a great time. All the Tenn fans say LSU is done and has no heart left after losing to R-Kansas. I beg to differ. I hope our coaches let it rip now that all the pressure is off for the NC game. I hope we march into Atlanta and run right at Tennessee on offense and blitz our butts off constantly. Let's take out all our frustration on these Vols. We have nothing to loose, lets beat the Rocky Top out of 'em! And if anyone has lower level tickets they don't want please let me know. I might want to drive down for the game. :geauxtige
Yeah, it was pretty crazy. Tennessee fans are in shock they are playing for the SEC Championship. I think that just adds misery to Bama's season. Their 2nd and 3rd most favorites teams playing in Atlanta.
Great story. TN is wrong. The pressure of the NC is off LSU now. We will go into the game blasting both barrels. TN is happy just to be there. Their season is now a success, the celebration is over. TN plays TERRIBLE on the road. Look at the whipping they took from Fl and Bama. LSU should roll in this high scoring game! GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!
