I think it wouldn't be a stretch to say he is worthy of being a Heisman finalist and at least get invited to NY. Probably wouldn't win but it would be a great honor just to be a finalist.:thumb:
Can you imagine what this complete balance could do if we can cut down on silly penalties, manage the clock better, and quit turning the ball over? Virginia Tech anybody....?
Wow, almost a decade. I remember the whole Peter Warrick, Laverneous super discount at Dillard's. I really think Les and all the Michigan talk will fade, but as far as talent and recruits go, we are stacked. These are beautiful days in Tiger Town. Imagine, we weren't even ranked #1 when we won the Title over OU. It just feels good (sorry for gloating) to see that #1 next to your school. It 's a really prideful thing. Its going to my head as a fan, so I can only imagine how it must feel as a player. Keep the boys in line Les, and ready to Run over the Rebels.
dorsey's hanging right in there with Tebow. here are the results from this link right now: Chase Daniel, Missouri 12% Dennis Dixon, Oregon 33% Glenn Dorsey, LSU 20% Darren McFadden, Arkansas 14% Tim Tebow, Florida 21%
Dorsey now in 2nd place with 22 percent. Sweet. If he got invited that would be a tremendous feat. There have been very few defensive players ever invited. Woodson from Michigan played both sides of the ball, so that really doesn't count.
i suppose it's as accurate and vote loaded as any internet poll on a sports website. in any case, the article about him in espn magazine may help him get the invite. espn is seriously hyping the dorsey.
He's still in 2nd place, as of 9:49 a.m., but now he has 25%. It would be awesome if he received an invite to NYC as a finalist!
27% now. Amazing the power of Tigerforums!! Anyway, I didn't realize it was a fan poll...as I didn't bother to click on the link. That's why I asked 'Dro that question earlier. Knowing it is a fan poll lessens my already non-existant hope that Dorsey will be in New York...much less win. But it is a great compliment that he is being given consideration by SI. I certainly wish him luck, but I think McFadden wins.
