He forgot about that one. So the amazing spring game, 10-20, 1 TD, and 1 INT...returned for a TD, means Lee is the next great LSU QB.

While we are talking about stats of the spring game why not mention Jefferson's stats? Not that they were a little doctored at the end, due to short passes. Why so much love for Jefferson? He holds the ball to long and looks like a deer in headlights out there. No big deal. He MUST be our starter. WHY?

Lee will win the job! It is a shame IMO that Garrett never got a chance in his 2nd year. BTW plenty of second year QB's have made the grade. All the hype on this board about second years really makes no sense.

Mauck? second year. Hodson? first year. Tyler? first year. Davey? second year.

The balance of where you put the 6 points. Why should the other team have those 6 points, we earned them?

I am sorry but Lee just can't just throw an interception, it must be a pick 6. WHY? Until he overcomes throwing away money, it is what it is. I ain't defending JJ just sayin, if he can just save us from giving away 6 points in the process of gettin 6 points, he's got the job.

Have you not seen the thread about the QB'S?? Nobody is pleased with JJ either. All I'm saying is, JJ has proven himself more than Lee ever has...IN GAMES! Neither is what any of us want them to be. Yet you, and a lot of others, are crowning Lee the starter because he went 10-20 with a TD and a pick 6...ANOTHER PICK 6...in a two hand touch scrimmage. Yes, JJ was AWFUL in the spring game...but Lee did NOT play well...as many are claiming. Get over the spring game. Like I said...Lee does well EVERY spring. It's gametime when he fails...epically. Sorry to be the one to point this out, but spring games don't count. Real games...in the regular season...do.

No he really has not! Proven what? That over a two year period he is getting worse? I know you like him. I know you want him to be the starter. He just has not improved whatsoever. He frankly has gotten worse. Hopefully, JL will get it together, he looks like he can make quicker decisions. His throws are alot better than JJ's.

Did I think that CG would get a chance? I really did. He did not. He really did not look that impresive in the spring game. His fault. Not really.

No matter what you say JL looked better than JJ in the spring game. From what I have heard from TAF members JL has looked more impresive than JJ all spring. I am ready for a QB. I really believe that JL is making great strides. I am personally happy for him. IMO he will be the starter next season. Thank goodness it is an open competition!

Both quarterbacks has proven this, unfortunately. Lee had a better spring, but it's hard to tell who has more upside, if either. If one doesn't step up beyond what we've seen already, it's going to be a long autumn in Tigertown.

You're right...in a way. JJ has NOT improved...and no, I am not his biggest fan as you are misunderstanding. Like I said, neither of them is what we need. But, to answer your question, he has proven not to give 6 points to the other team. Lee has proven to do it...repeatedly...over and over and over and over! That is the bigger evil.

I swear, this is like LA politics. Vote for the lesser of two evils. Not where we wanna be. But get over your idea that I'm a big JJ fan. I am only because he is a Tiger. Guess what...I'm a Lee fan for the same reason. Whichever is QB, I'm rooting for them.

JJ is slow with decisions, scared to throw the ball unless the receiver is wide open, and doesn't seem to be improving. However, if they would let the kid roll out and throw on the run, like they did in the Peach Bowl...like they did on occasion last season...he is money. But so far...they won't. FWIW, Lee looks better than JJ running the option. And that is sad...cause neither needs to be running it.

If you can't understand that giving the other team easy TDs is the bigger evil, I can't continue this discussion. It's really simple to me, and others. But sometimes, it doesn't matter how simple it is...people refuse to see it. Especially when it comes to something like this. Some fans will ALWAYS want the guy on the bench to be the starter. And it's always the same. Those fans will take a few nice plays the guy made, and forget all the total screw ups.

Like all of Lee's completions? And his pick 6? He was o-fer on deep balls...
