Hey, my dad and I are coming down for the final game of the season against Arkansas on Nov 28th, and the Saints Monday nighter on the 30th, so I have a few Q's..... We're staying in New Orleans so what might be the best way to get down to Baton Rouge? Is there some bars in N.O. that run fan buses? How's the tailgating before the game?.... Pls tell me there's at least some tailgating... What's the rivalry like with Ark.? I hopin for pretty damn good! Thanks for any info. you guys might have....opcorn:
Welcome to the forum! The Arkansas game will be a big deal this year. LSU has lost 2 of the last 3 of those meetings, and in horrible fashion last year. The team should be out for blood in 2009. You might be in luck when it comes to tailgating, since this game has been traditionally played the day after Thanksgiving, but has been moved to the following Saturday this year. Tailgating for the 2007 game was very sparse, but should be improved this year. I'm sure there will be some cochon-du-lait to go around, too. :hihi:
I don't know anything about any buses but if you rent a car just get on Interstate 10 and drive west for about 80 miles. Get off at teh Dalrymple Drive exit and turn left. It will take you right to the LSU campus. You will meet plenty of friendly LSU fans tailgating who will gladly give you food and beer. Some of them will probably even speak French so you can communicate in your own language. Le Bon Temps Roulez
Best.............question..............ever. how's deep space?? please tell me it's devoid of some oxygen. brutha, you have no idea.
depends on where you're gonna tailgate. we tailgate on the parade grounds and its so easy to get off on dalrymple and go right to the law school lot. a lot less traffic than highland that way.
