On Thursday, now-fired FBI director James B. Comey is going to testify in front of the Senate committee investigating Russia meddling, specifically about what he says President Trump asked him to do with regard to the investigation. The Senate Intelligence Committee has released Comey's prepared testimony.

Statement for the Record Senate Select Committee on Intelligence James B. Comey June 8, 2017

Trump wants a quick end to the investigation so he can move past the Russian issue and Comey wants to stall the investigation to and continue to hold the power of information over our heads. He did this shit near the end of the election last year. We may disagree on how we interpret Comey's words but I hope we all agree that the fucker should have been fired.

So he doesn't want to report the conversation to the AG because he assumes he will recuse himself but asks for the AG to step in and prevent further one on one conversations. He is a Washington slime ball.

I don't think we learned anything from the hearing today,.. maybe that Trump was more heavy-handed than the written leaks suggested, in wanting Comey to back off on the Flynn investigation,.. and Comey was more disturbed about that, and discussed it more extensively with his staff and others.

Mostly I learned that Senator McCain has turned into a confused doddering old goat.

Agree. Comedy's wishy-wasy behavior with the email scandal was puzzling. Plus, the explanations that pointed to guilty but him not acting on what he laid out as clear illegal activities. Fuck Comey. He looks queer to me.

I am keeping up by reading headlines. HuffPost's major headlines are Comey calling Trump a defaming liar and Comey leaking memos. If that is the best HuffPo can do then there really wasn't any thing to see here.
