My God, people, come down off the bridge. We won the opening game of the season, over a very fired up North Carolina team. We shot ourselves in the foot too many times, and, yet, we overcame it all. LSU was in a no-win situation. If we had beat NC by 50, ESPN would have said, "UNC didnt have all their players". Winning like we did, it was "LSU survived more than they won" (another reason why I want to punch Musberger in the face). And as far as everyone feeling sorry for UNC, don't. It's not like the players that were missing were hurt or going through hard times, they CHEATED and got caught I, for one, am sick of everybody bashing Les Miles. The playcalling in the second half did suck, but are penalties and turnovers the coach's fault? I think not. Love him or hate him, we should still support him because he is our coach. I will pull for this team, win or lose. I don't always agree with the decisions made, but I still support the program with every ounce of purple and gold blood in my body. We still have a damn strong football team! Geaux Tigers!
Well then, win by 50, like you should have. I would have gladly taken that so-called "no-win situation".
what he said. im not happy with the second half of last nights game. at all. but geez. either get off the ledge or let me push.
Hey if you guys want to accept what you saw last night...that is your right. But if you don't see that we are heading to consistent 6-6 seasons...you are not being rational...you are being delusional.
So who is going to beat us? Florida and Bama are candidates, clearly. You think we will lose to Auburn, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and West Virginia, too? I picked 9-3 for LSU this year and I think that's far more likely than 6-6.
