It depends on your height, weight, etc etc. Average is 1 oz of hard liquor per hour is .08 one glass of red wine per hour is .08 and 1 beer per hour is .08. (or at least thats what the tabc, and abc classes i took when i used to bartend told us) Some people just have uber-livers that can break the alcohol down faster than others.
have no clue how accurate this is, but: R U Pissed? - Online Breathalyzer Test and Blood Alcohol Content/Level Calculator - Hangover Cures oh, and a little advice to the forum. If ever you get one of them breathalyser things put in your truck, do not hold a party at your house and see who can blow the highest during the course of the party. A buddy of mine had one for a little over a year and we pulled this lil stunt. Come to find out, that machine keeps a memory of failed tests that the DA gets to read. Not a good way to get your license back on time.
So one drink and you're at the limit? I don't think so See, this is what I'm talking about. This says I can drink 6 beers in four hours and be at .031. Maybe, but I really don't drink much more than that. By their math, I would need 10 beers in 4 hours to get drunk. I can tell you I would be phukt beyong belief at that point. So if that's the limit, I've driven drunk 2 or 3 times in my whole life.....maybe. I need a portable breathalyzer. I'm gonna buy one.
Okay, I just realized their alcohol content on lite beer was way off. I looked up the actual content online and have it right. It has me now at 6 beers over 4 hours would put me right at the limit. I can believe that.
Alcohol - Facts, Statistics, Resources, and Impairment Charts most are inaccurate and unreliable. know a guy like nootch does who has one in his truck and also one of these cheapies. the latter one was never right.
Right, but I think the assumption is that you drink it instantaneously. Not a realistic assumption for those of us who are out of college.
well obviously i was blatantly LIED to in driver's ed. i was told otherwise. that's it. i wouldn't have responded to anything else in this thread, but i was seriously told that a drink or two will put you over the limit. i'm not a sheep and thought that it was all propaganda that they're spewing. partially why i take everything the govt/authority says with a grain of salt. i learned that what you are taught and what is factual truth are two extremely different things.
this was kind of my entire point. i'm not talking about you at all, but maybe i underestimate the intellect of this forum a little too often.
